2024 Monitoring Update – Bridgeport-Stamford Congestion Management Process
Transportation Management Areas, or urban areas with populations greater than 200,000, must maintain a congestion management process (CMP), whereby transportation decisions are made taking into account impact to congestion on the national highway system. With a significant portion of the NVCOG's territory falling in the Bridgeport-Stamford Urban Area, the NVCOG, along with WestCOG and CT MetroCOG maintain and regularly report on a congestion management process.
