The Naugatuck River Greenway Steering Committee (NRGSC) consists of representatives from all 11 municipalities along the NRG corridor along with regional, state and federal representatives and other stakeholders serving to promote, support and help guide the development of the NRG.
The Regional Planning Commission (RPC) is an NVCOG advisory subcommittee whose members consider regional land use issues, review and analyze regional studies and plans, and oversee the preparation of the Regional Plan of Conservation and Development.
The Transportation Technical Advisory Committee (TTAC) comprises local government representatives (public works, planners, engineers) who provide technical review and recommendations to the NVCOG Board Members.
The Regional Brownfields Partnership (RBP) is a voluntary association of municipalities across west central Connecticut through which 27 eligible cities and towns are able to access brownfield funding.
The Naugatuck Valley Emergency Planning Committee and Citizen Corps Council (EPC) is comprised of the region’s 19 Emergency Management Directors. The EPC works to foster cooperation and increase the effectiveness of the region’s First Responders and Community Emergency Response Teams (CERT).
