Environmental Sustainability Forum
NVCOG holds Environmental Sustainability Forums (ESFs) to bring together stakeholders throughout and even beyond the region to learn about and discuss environmental issues. The events are free and open to everyone who RSVPs. Free, vegan lunches are provided. To learn more, and to be added to the email notification list, contact Christine at coneill@nvcogct.gov.
Upcoming Forum
The NVCOG and UConn are hosting a Low Impact Development (LID) Tour on July 24 from 10 AM to 12 PM, at UConn Lodewick Visitor’s Center, 115 North Eagleville Rd., Storrs CT 06269.
The tour is specifically designed for stakeholders from the Naugatuck Valley Planning Region. Participants will explore various types of low impact development, understand its benefits, and maintenance needed to implement these practices successfully.
Registration is required to attend. Transportation will be provided from the NVCOG Office to UConn Storrs for participants that register by July 3rd.
