Explore the Transportation Guide to the Greater Naugatuck Valley, a comprehensive resource offering valuable information on routes, schedules, and facilities. Its primary purpose is to foster public engagement and collaboration for the continual improvement of regional transportation options.
Origin and Purpose
The Transportation Guide to the Greater Naugatuck Valley Region traces its origins back to more than fifty years. Earlier editions provided details on public and quasi-public and transportation services across the former Central Naugatuck Valley Region. This updated edition offers comprehensive information on regional bus and train routes and schedules. It also includes details on aviation facilities, freight-restricted bridges, and commuter parking lots, complete with their locations, transit connections, and utilization rates from the past three years.
Public Engagement
Through our public engagement efforts, we provide this guide to help visitors and residents explore transit options, especially those who do not have access to a car or choose not to drive. We invite you to share feedback or suggestions, please email eolaleye@nvcogct.gov.
Current Edition
The latest edition was released in October 2025.
