Everyone is invited to a Public Information Meeting for State Project No. 130-184 – Superstructure Replacement of Bridge No. 01157, Bucks Hill Road over I-84 in Southbury, CT.

The meeting will be held on Thursday, March 14, 2019 (inclement weather date: Thursday, March 28, 2019) at 6:30 p.m. in the Southbury Town Hall, 501 Main Street South, Room 205, Southbury, CT.

Residents, commuters, business owners, and other interested individuals are encouraged to take advantage of this opportunity to learn about and discuss the proposed project.

Annual CFPZA Conference 2019

The CFPZA annual conference will take place on Thursday, March 28, 2019 at the Aqua Turf in Southington, CT. The program for the Conference will include a presentation on Authority over Zoning Enforcement and recent attempts to transfer this power to First Selectman and Mayors. Sustainable CT Fellow Program -Summer 2019

The Sustainable CT municipal certification program is accepting applications for its Summer 2019 Fellow Program. Sustainable CT Fellows are placed at each of the nine CT Councils of Government and assist municipalities with the uptake and implementation of Sustainable CT action items for Sustainable CT Certification. The Census Bureau is using funds appropriated in prior years to continue all critical work in preparation for the 2020 Census, including hiring for field operations. Neither schedule nor cost is impacted by the partial government shutdown at this time.
