Regional Housing Profile

The Regional Housing Profile identifies regional housing trends and provides strategies to help implement a municipality’s affordable housing goals. The Regional Housing Profile includes municipal data on demographics, housing supply, housing cost, and housing affordability to help a community better understand their housing stock.  

Strategies for implementation of affordable housing goals include providing education and training to municipal staff in various affordable housing measures, and providing educational materials in central locations such as Town Halls about applying to such programs. Municipalities can use these strategies to increase their community member’s knowledge of affordable housing options.

Additionally, the Regional Housing Profile provides resources that municipalities can take advantage of to increase their stock of affordable housing, such as education and pursuit of affordable housing funding opportunities.
