The ADA Lunch and Learn which will be held on Thursday, September 28 from 12 p.m. to 1 p.m. at the NVCOG offices, which are located at 49 Leavenworth St., Waterbury, CT 06702.

This event is designed for local transportation and public safety professionals responsible for pedestrian facility maintenance and construction within public right-of-way. Participants will benefit from hearing from the CTDOT, which will shed light on the ADA’s legal requirements and provide practical recommendations on assessing and improving accessibility. The CT Training & Technical Assistance Center (T2 Center) will discuss the services they provide to communities and provide an interactive demonstration of their ADA compliance toolkit.
