The Naugatuck Valley Council of Governments (NVCOG) supports a dynamic and resilient regional economy by fostering collaboration, innovation, and sustainable growth across our 19 municipalities.
Through strategic planning, community engagement, and targeted investment, NVCOG helps strengthen local businesses, attract new opportunities, and enhance quality of life throughout the region.
Our Partners
We work closely with the U.S. Economic Development Administration (EDA) to secure funding for the Naugatuck Valley Corridor Economic Development District (NVC EDD) through the creation and implementation of a regional Comprehensive Economic Development Strategy (CEDS).
NVCOG also partners with the Connecticut Department of Economic and Community Development (DECD) and the Connecticut Municipal Development Authority (CMDA) to advance regional priorities. As the designated regional contact for the state’s Enterprise Corridor Zone and Opportunity Zone programs, we help communities access key incentives for growth.
