Project Type: Assessment
Activities: The City of Bristol has been awarded assessment funding by the Regional Brownfields Partnership to complete a Phase II Environmental Site Assessment at the previous Lauretti Company site located at 43 East Main Street. This funding will be utilized to help determine the level of effort needed for a Phase III Environmental Site Assessment and associated remediations costs. The City’s goal is to develop the site back into a community asset.
Project Status: An environmental firm has been selected by the Regional Brownfields Partnership Executive Committee for the project and a contract is expected to be executed by mid-June. Environmental activities are expected to commence by mid-July.
