Type of Project: Assessment Activities
Activities: The Regional Brownfield Partnership awarded the Town of Newtown with assessment funding to conduct a Phase II and Phase III environmental assessment following the final phase of demolition of the previous four buildings.
Project Status: An environmental firm has been selected by the Regional Brownfields Partnership Executive Committee for the project and a contract is expected to be executed by mid-June. Environmental activities are expected to commence by mid-July.
