An opportunity to turn data and public input into a 25-year vision for transportation in the NVCOG Region.

Updating Our Plan

The public outreach period for the Metropolitan Transportation Plan (MTP) was  from 2/22/2019 through 4/12/2019.  Residents, commuters, business owners, and other interested individuals were encouraged to take advantage of this opportunity to learn about the transportation planning process and provide valuable input on transportation needs in the Greater Waterbury Area.

Take a look at the MTP, the executive summary and associated documents, all located in the sidebar.

Public Involvement

By sharing your ideas and opinions about how to improve the safety and efficiency of your community’s transportation system, you may help guide elected officials when they make decisions about where and how to invest in the transportation system in the future.  The results of the most recent survey were published in the CNVMPO MTP 2019-2045 document in Appendix D.  Thank you to all that participated!

You can always suggest transportation project ideas in the region through the Mobility Project Reporter.

A public information meeting was held on Wednesday, March 27, 2019, at 5:00 p.m. at NVCOG.

Written comments were accepted until 4:00 PM on Wednesday, April 10, 2019.

The MTP was adopted by the CNVMPO at its meeting on Friday, April 12th, 2019 at 10:00 a.m.
