Invasive Plant Management Training

Learn from the Naugatuck Valley Council of Governments (NVCOG) staff and the Regional Water Authority (RWA) how to manage invasive plants on municipal properties. The event will be held on September 23, 2026, from 9:00 AM – 12:00 PM at Prospect Fire Hall 26 New Haven Rd, Prospect.
The training will include a light breakfast, a classroom session, a plant-ID site walk, and a demonstration of RWA’s new steam-weeder.
Who should attend? Public works & parks staff, land use planners, and any interested municipal staff in the NVCOG region.
